FOURTH ANNUAL RESEARCH TO ENTERPRISE SUMMIT – FREE EVENT ALL WELCOME!

TUESDAY 14TH JUNE AT 4.15 PM

Lecture Theatre B, University Place, Oxford Road.

The highly successful Research to Enterprise Summit returns for a fourth year!

Designed to raise the profile of enterprise at the University of Manchester, the event will be an opportunity for researchers in all faculties, whether at postgraduate, postdoctoral or staff level to be inspired to become more enterprising in whatever their career holds for them in the future be it academia, industry or in starting their own business.

In addition to several former students and staff from the university, the event sees the following speakers:

Nick Hewer is a familiar face on TV as Alan Sugars right hand man on The Apprentice. His media company represented Amstrad plus several well known world figures for a number of years and he brings a wealth of business experience.

Jo Fairley created Green and Blacks Chocolate, organic, ethical and fairtrade producing the first ever product to hold the “Fairtrade” mark. Now also involved in the beauty industry, she is an entrepreneur with social and ethical responsibility.

As always, there will be a networking buffet with drinks following the speakers.
