Dear all,

The Manchester Centre for Anglo-Saxon Studies (MANCASS) is hosting its sixth annual postgraduate conference from March 7th-8th, 2011 in the stunningly beautiful John Rylands Library, Deansgate, Manchester.  The conference theme is ‘Before Man and God: Sin, Confession, Forgiveness and Redemption in the Anglo-Saxon World’.

The deadline for submissions has now been extended to January 28th, 2011. Both postgraduate and early career researchers are invited to submit abstracts for 20-minute papers.  Please find attached a copy of the poster.

Please would you kindly forward this email along with the attachment to all those who may be interested in our conference.  Apologies for cross-posting.

The conference is generously funded by the School of Arts, Histories and Cultures at the University of Manchester.

Very best wishes,

Christopher Monk and Alex Lester
