Warwick Institute of Advanced Study: Junior Research Fellowships
Warwick IAS  invites applications from outstanding researchers who are at the beginning of a promising academic career for their Junior Research Fellowship scheme. Applications are welcome from across all faculties and disciplines and must be supported by a Warwick nominator. It is essential that candidates have proposed research projects that closely complement the nominated academic department’s current research interests.  In keeping with the ethos of Warwick IAS, interdisciplinary research applications are strongly encouraged.
The stipend is £24,000, and the start date is October / November 2010.
Candidates should hold a doctorate and be within 3 years of their PhD graduation.  They should not have more than 3 year’s postdoctoral research/teaching experience or hold, nor have held, a permanent academic post. The three posts will be fixed-term for 12 months. For more information, see www.go.warwick.ac.uk/ias. To apply, go to: www.warwick.ac.uk/jobs
